BEHIND THE LENS
Queenstown Photography Tours are photographic tours led by full time professional photographer, Warren Williams. (Finalist - 2016 NZ Geographic Photographer of the Year)
There's many places to consider visiting, with some of the more popular trips being from Queenstown to Glenorchy, exploring the areas tucked away, such as Paradise and Kinloch.
For those a little more adventurous, and not too worried about the cold, perhaps a night photography tour is what you need. I can teach you how to take Milky Way photos and if we're lucky, we may even see the Aurora Australis. These tours are best over the shorter daylight months of April to October. The moon is a big factor too, with a New Moon, or at a time of night when the moon isn't in the sky will give you the best experience.
I currently use Canon 5D Mk IV's + Mk III's with a variety of L series lens. Let me know if you would like to borrow some gear, or try some out. Otherwise I can give advice on how to get the best out of your own camera.
Are you looking for more of a workshop? Let me know - I can cater to anyone's needs and I'm more than happy to offer a tailored photography workshop. My background over the past 13 years has been wedding photography - so I can also provide workshops for portraits and lighting.
Our tours are fully licensed under the strict New Zealand Transport Agency and adhere to the rules and legisation. Warren has his P endorsement licence, a Passenger Services Licence under the business (Williams Photography), holds a level 2 first aid certificate.
